What is Easter?

People have different beliefs about Easter. Some people think it is about bunnies, easter eggs, food, when Jesus Christ was resurrected and some people don’t celebrate it.

Easter Eggs

Ancient Egyptians and Persians believed that the world was hatched from an egg. they celebrate by panting an egg the first chocolate egg was made by Germany.

Easter Sunday

Christians believe that Jesus died for our sins. He died on Easter Friday and came back alive on Easter Sunday.

Camp Story

Last week on Wednesday we went to camp at school. We slept in tents. My tent partners were Job and Noah. We also were put into groups. The groups names were called The Real DealZ, Matapono E, The, All Stars, True Crew, and the Honest Squad!

For camp my group was called the Honest Squad! First we went to do our practice it really fun but it was  a little bit boring.

After that we went to go and eat  morning tea we got somo hot food! it was so tasty we have toost and spaghetti and we have milo after we have to wash are plat and our cup.

When we finished we went to go and have fun! There was ping pong and rollerblading. I keep on falling down and it hurt.

Camp was so good. I liked swimming the best. I hope I go back to camp next year!

Kaitiaki of the stream

We have been reading Kaitiaki of the stream. It is about a man who looks after his river. We have been thinking about how we can look after our creek.

Here are some things important about our creek.

At Omaru Creek we us to go swimming.us to catch fish there now it polluted.It is special because it is our creek. my group was reading a book cold kaitiaki of the stream.
